Church is Pathetic

     Have you ever stopped to think how pathetic we are as a church. Now half of you have just thought I was talking about the building that you go to every week out of habit. No, church is the body of believers who have a common belief. That is the biggest problem with church as we know it today. The original church traveled around to reach the lost, now we sit in our air conditioned building, in our way too expensive pews, and drink our expensive coffee and crappy donuts. It really pisses me off that Christians are always the first ones to complain when something goes on that they don't agree with but the last ones to do anything about it.

     Another problem that I have is why do we as Christians always have to copy off of things that we are supposed to be different from to begin with? Let me give you an example:

What the heck is a Teenage Jesus-Worshipping Christian? That is the gayest shirt I have ever seen!

Now maybe I am wrong but my Bible says:

Rom 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world,[fn3] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. My point of this entire post is just to challenge you to do something original. Stop complaining get out and do something. Use your talents for Him outside of your building and do something original. He made us all different with different talents, I challenge us as a church to use them!
