Military DEATHS FOR TWENTY YEARS

Bet you didn't know the following! I surely did not.

These are some rather eye-opening facts: Since the start of the war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan, the sacrifice has been enormous. In the time period from the invasion of Iraq in March 2003 through now, we have lost over 3000 military personnel to enemy action and accidents. As tragic as the loss of any member of the Armed Forces is, consider the following statistics:

If you are confused when you look at these figures...so was I.

Do these figures mean that the loss from the two latest conflicts in the Middle East are LESS than the loss of military personnel during Mr. Clinton's presidency; when America wasn't even involved in a war? And, I was even more confused; when I read that in 1980, during the reign of President (Nobel Peace Prize) Jimmy Carter, there were 2,392 US military fatalities!

These figures indicate that many of our Media & Politicians will pick and choose. They present only those 'facts' which support their agenda-driven reporting. Why do so many of them march in lock-step to twist the truth. Where do so many of them get their marching-orders for their agenda?

Our Mainstream Print and TV media, and many Politicians like to slant; that these brave men and women, who are losing their lives in Iraq, are mostly minorities! Wrong AGAIN--- just one more media lie!

The latest census, of Americans, shows the following distribution of American citizens, by Race:

European descent (White) ...... 69.12%
Hispanic ...................................... 12.5%
Black.............................................. 12.3%
Asian ............................................... 3.7%
Native American ......................... . 1.0%

Now... here are the fatalities by Race; over the past three years in Iraqi Freedom:

1. 'Why does the mainstream Print and TV Media never provide statistics like these?'




2. 'Why do the mainstream media hate the web as much as they do?'


You do the Math! These figures don't lie... but, Media-liars figure...and they sway public opinion!

Political Rant

I am so sick of hearing about the election already and it is only February. Who am I going to vote for you may ask? At this point I must respond with a simple answer, who cares! My only choices are: a Clinton, a man with absolutely no political experience (has never passed a bill), or a money hungry veteran who will keep us in Iraq until we are all dead. I'm sorry Ron Paul & John Edwards that America is blinded by what the media feeds them nightly through their paid advertisements from their owners. 2 billion in advertising will not go to waste though my dear friends, no as America slips deeper into a recession we are glued to the television worried about who won what primary. Is it bad if I look at the nightly news the same as TMZ? Simply a tabloid filled with utter ridiculousness and lies. What America needs is a patriot, a decision maker, and honest hard working blue collar type guy, IE: Thomas Jefferson. God forgive us that we are so stupid. Maybe when gas prices hit 10 dollars a gallon and our children are starving we will look at the real issues. And maybe when none of us have health care we will then realize that some kind of government regulation is necessary to make the insurance companies comply. Hospitals & Oil Companies get richer as the working Americans get poorer something is wrong with this picture.

My Political Views

     Growing up in an Assembly of God home I was raised I guess you could say as a Republican. Politics was something that I never really researched or knew anything about until I attended college. It was at this time that everyone kept saying you need to vote, you need to register to vote. blah blah blah. At that time just as with everything I have ever done in life I had to question the reasoning behind this so called "need" that everyone was forcing onto me. I decided to do what I have always done in my life when I questioned something I decided to research the politcal parties and see which one I fit most into. I read and read and wanted to fall into a category that I could be proud of and support all aspects of their stance in America. Finding myself torn between several different ones I found myself most an Independent. In my opinion, Independents choose to keep the integrity of their individuality intact without the need to be a member of any party.

      I am not trying to sway you from something you believe in for these upcoming elections but I do challenge you if you care to pick a party of your own free will not just because of something someone told you. The information is there you just have to research it and find out for yourself. I have included the Independent Platform below if you are interested....

We, Independent Americans of the United States, out of great love for God, our families, our country and Constitution, do proclaim:

1.  [Christian Heritage] We believe that Jesus Christ is the God of this land; that we are fundamentally a Christian nation; and that only by faith in and obedience to God shall we be preserved as a great nation.

2.  [Family]  We believe that families are the fundamental building blocks of a moral society; that traditional family values are the strength of our nation; and that Christian principles are the key to strong homes in America.

3.  [Citizenship]  We believe that patriotism, civic duty and good character are essential to personal liberty and responsibility in America.

4.  [Unalienable Rights]  We believe that God has endowed men with certain unalienable rights, such as life, liberty and property; that these rights are guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution; and that it is the function of government to protect these rights.

5.  [Education]  We believe that Christian principles originally were the foundation of our educational system; and that they should again be made the center of American education.

6.  [Economy]  We believe that "free enterprise" is the best economic system for America; that taxation should be limited to those methods provided for in the original Constitution; and that our nation must return to a debt-free monetary system in accordance with the Constitution.

7.  [Society]  We believe that government has no Constitutional authority to convert to socialism; that state and local governments have the right and moral obligation to discourage drug and alcohol use and gambling in their jurisdictions; and that the safety of law-abiding citizens must take precedence over the rights of criminals.

8.  [Natural Resources]  We believe protection of the environment should be a state responsibility; that there must be a dynamic balance between energy development and conservation; and that there are safe and inexpensive alternative energy sources that should be developed.

9.  [U.S. Constitution]  We believe that the Constitution for the United States was prepared and adopted by men under inspiration from Almighty God; that it is a solemn compact created by the people of the states of this nation; and that it was made only for a moral and religious people.

10.  [Government]  We believe that the sole function of government is to protect life, liberty and property; that the federal government is an agent of the states and the people; and that each state is sovereign in performing those functions reserved to it by the U.S. Constitution.

11. [Defense] We believe that a strong defense establishment is essential to the preservation of our nation; that America must not commit its military to any international organization; and that no foreign military bases should be allowed on American soil.

12. [U.S. Sovereignty] We believe that a sovereign America is necessary for us to maintain our freedom and way of life; that we must withdraw from all international agreements that diminish our sovereignty; and that we must resist all efforts to draw us into a global government.

We claim that our Christian heritage, the traditional family, patriotism, and our unalienable rights are under attack; that our educational, economic and social institutions, and use of natural resources, have been perverted by those who would destroy our way of life; and that our Constitution, republican form of government, national security, and national sovereignty are hanging by a thread.

We declare that the Independent American Party is the only political institution that embraces the principles necessary for the restoration of our traditional way of life. We, therefore, present this Platform as a guideline to our beliefs and strategies for preserving our nation and our freedom, for ourselves and for our posterity.

A Fallen Hero

    

     On April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee. King was a civil rights hero and truly a honorable American.
